On my most recent visit to Kuala Lumpur, I finally got to check out the vibrant and growing startup scene in town and met some interesting talents across various industries.
Needless to say I had a fantastic time and I just love networking, it's wonderful to get to know such different people who seem to be so like me at the same time! Here I have put together some of the coworking spaces you should check out on your next visit to Kuala Lumpur.
The Co. – The Community One
With two fab spaces in Kuala Lumpur, one tucked away in hip Bangsar, the city’s technological hub and the other smack bang in the city centre, The Co. is in a prime location for digital nomads. Its' focus is very much about community and collaboration and therefore provides regular events for its members such as visits from local entrepreneurs. It is an inclusive and relaxed work environment with a great adajenct café space in Bangar to boot.

Jetpack Kuala Lumpur – The Productive One
If you are in to get real productive in a super friendly environment, coworking at Jetpack will be your answer. Led by Iskandar, I was lucky enough to check out the small but open space where startups, freelancers and other independent professionals meet and fiddle about amazing ideas.
There are regular events and the area around, a major expat area, is pretty cool and worth exploring too.

Nook – The Cosy One
What Nook does best is provide all the hardware of a typical office but with the atmosphere of a café. It is also set on a hill and surrounded by greenery – the perfect environment to get those creative juices flowing.
Their mantra is collaboration and community and they highlight the importance of sharing ideas, support and time with fellow co-workers so that everyone can benefit. They provide events and seminars and even professional services such as administration, bookkeeping and tax returns.

Fluent Space – The Minimalist One
Crisp and clear surroundings are perfect for creative thought and that is exactly what Fluent Space offers with its minimalist chic simple decor.
Every first Friday of the month, Fluent Space hosts a brunch for coworkers and visitors, so you can check out the space and use it for free until 6pm. Cool! Check their Facebook page for announcements on these sorts of things.

Uppercase – The One to Get New Perspectives
Located within a heritage factory right in the heart of Bangsar, this collaborative workspace is filled with natural light and provides a beautiful space for connecting, creating and collaborating. Come with your ideas, be social and connect to writers, graphic designers, programmers and other people from diverse backgrounds and be sure to take your ideas to the next level.

Port Commune – The Meeting Ground for Creatives
Feel inspired at Port Commune, a space that cultivates an art and design culture through and through while simply aiming to inspire everyone working at the space.
With their vision to create a stylish warehouse as a meeting ground for like-minded creatives to collaborate and create, the founders have struck up a culture where working alongside and sharing projects among each other is highly encouraged.
Price: RM400 for a monthly membership and RM30 for a day
